In 2016, 25 world-renowned sculptors chose Liberty Hill as a temporary home, where they created 26 works of art. The result is the International Sculpture Park, located adjacent to Liberty Hill Intermediate School.

You can find all sorts of attractions at Lions Foundation Park in Liberty Hill, Texas. There are many different events and activities to choose from, including the annual Christmas Festival, the Jingle Bell 5K Run, and the Liberty Hill Christmas Parade. In the summer, the park is the perfect location for a family-friendly movie night. It hosts food trucks, live music, and a free concert.

But what makes Lions Foundation Park so special? One of the reasons it’s so unique is its sculptures. In fact, in 1987, twenty-five world-renowned sculptors came to Liberty Hill for a two-month residency, creating 26 works of art in the park. The park was conceived by local artist Mel Fowler, who invited twenty different sculptors to create site-specific works for Liberty Hill’s City Square. When the park was finished, it was cataloged in the Smithsonian Institute Research Information System.

If you want to spend an afternoon in the park, you can take advantage of its pavilion, two ball fields, volleyball court, and a 0.8-mile walking track. The park also has an onsite library. Volunteers and the Liberty Hill Youth League work hard to maintain the park.
